Chinese New Year Celebration
Lavender Meadows Academy celebrated the holiday on 17th of February 2021. Programme are as follows - Laoshi played a video about the legend of Nian, followed by introductions of all the symbols that symbolizes Chinese New Year such as pair of oranges, hong bao, Lou hei and Lion dance. Children also had the chance to experience Lion dance themselves. It is followed by dancing Chinese New Year dance and songs and it is followed by dumplings making.
